Jim was christened Kenneth James Kennedy but was known to evryone as Jim.
Born in Banff-Aberdeenshire in 1935.
Jim has 1 brother Albert and 2 sisters Evelyn & Iris.
He was great friends with his brother-in-laws Bill & Fred.
Jim moved down to Corby in the 60's and married with one son. Many years later in 1978 he met
Christine Sanders and became step-father to Mark.
I married Mark in 1990 and was proud to call him my father-in-law.
He became a very loved Grandad to my 3 children, Laura,Rachel & Matthew. He even converted Matthew
into a Liverpool supporter against Coventry-supporting-Mark!!
Jim loved a brandy, a dance and spending time with his grandchildren.
He spent many happy years with Chris and loved her dearly.
He loved his Mother Bella dearly too and spent every day visiting her and shopping for her,
decorating,cooking, taking the grandchildren to visit her too. Sadly Bella died in 1999 aged 83.
And Jim was loved dearly which is why we all miss him so very much......
He died so very sadly with cancer, 3 months after being diagnosed.
Our lives ever since, have never been the same.
Jim we all miss and love you.

God saw you were getting tired Jim
and a cure was not to be.
So he put his arm around you
and whispered "" come with me""
with tearful eyes
we watched you suffer,
and saw you fade away.
Although we loved you deeply
we could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
Hardworking hands to rest.
God broke our hearts
to prove to us,
He only take the best.

We all still miss you so much Jim & please give my lovely Mummy lots of hugs for us all. You both got on so well & she loved you calling her fine looking "Quiney"....

please do you know the number for heaven up above i want to make a call to someone that i love,telephone directories enquiries,oh yes i have tried them all,i even asked the local priest because he talks to god you see i thought he,d have a direct line but he was no help to me,i tried the yellow pages but nothing seem to fit i just want to talk to you for just a little bit, love theresa xxx
